I want to tell you about my favourite art projects that I made in 2020.
NEW YORK CITY MAP
New York is my favourite city on earth and I wanted to make its map and to show its most popular or characteristic places or phenomenon. I think I succeeded! And I'm quite happy with the result. You can find a print with this illustration in my SHOP.
THE VILLAGE AND WELEDA SPECIAL PROJECT EDITORIAL
I concern about ecology and like Weleda brand so I was happy to make illustrations for their special project with The Village. You can check the whole material here.
EDITORIAL FOR ORNAMENT MAGAZINE
Ornament is a new Russian magazine about cinema. The first issue was devoted to Wes Anderson and this is my illustration to editorial about music in his films. You can check all the illustrations here. I enjoy the colours and the idea of these illustrations!
AFISHA DAILY EDITORIAL
Afisha used to be a Russian magazine about modern culture and I have been a big fan of it in my student times. I still keep some of my favourite issues at home. Now it's a media platform but nevertheless I was happy to work with them.
I got a material about modern punk life in Russia. Unfortunately for some reason it wasn't published but anyway I liked the result so much!
QUARANTINE ILLUSTRATION
I couldn't be shot out of quarantine and self isolation theme in 2020. I wanted to convert my feelings and impressions into art so I made this illustration. I think it perfectly conveys feelings of anxiety, fear and uncertainty that were spread around the world in spring 2020.
SEASONS MAGAZINE EDITORIAL
I have been a reader and a fan of Seasons magazine for several years and was happy to finally work with them. And I became even more happy when I found out that I would illustrate a material where one of the texts was about my hometown and nearby towns. It was a match :) Generally the material was about hiking - its difficulties and joys.
TATLER MAGAZINE COVER
I was so happy to finally see my illustration on the cover of a magazine! It was an application to the main Tatler issue about best Moscow realty. I tried to show all types of popular Moscow accommodation at the moment and its residents.
CALENDAR ILLUSTRATIONS FOR AN AGRICULTURE COMPANY
Russian agriculture company asked me to illustrate summer months for the calendar which they were going to gift to their partners. I like how kind and pretty these illustrations are!
TWO BOOKS ABOUT BODY CHANGES FOR TEENAGERS WITH AUTISTIC DISORDERS
I took part in a very important project - illustrated two books (for boys and girls) about body changes while growing up for teenagers with autistic disorders. The books were written with psychologists' help and aim to show how a person changes while growing up.
ACRYLIC PAINTING
Unfortunately I didn't paint much in 2020 but anyway I managed to create several still lives that I like so much!
